Life of the Land announces intervention in HECO/NextEra docket before the Hawaii PUC
by Larry Geller
Henry Curtis emailed to announce that Life of the Land has intervened before the Public Utilities Commission in HECO-NextEra Docket 2015-0022:
Today HECO and NextEra filed their merger application with the Public Utilities Commission.
The HECO-NextEra deal is more than just changing the ownership of the HECO Companies. It is also about the Game Plan and the speed of transition to some future. The issues include ratepayer bills, reliability, smart grids, inter-island cables and liquefied natural gas.
Life of the Land intervened in the proceeding to protect our people, our environment and our cultural resources.
