If corporations are people, then we should be able to hold them liable for crimes that people might commit. Right? Not yet.

True. Without people, it is an empty shell just like a union would be. A corporation could be one person. More commonly, a corporation is just a group of people who operate under a known set of rules for purposes of commerce and tax treatment.
