The Tea Party and Occupy movements do share some common ground. As pointed out in the video they disagree on the solutions. This is because Tea Party members have little understanding of economics. They believe supply-side economics is actually economics. Occupy members understand supply-side economics is not actually economics but a political philosophy which believes the only people qualified to lead our country are the rich. Clever messaging over the past thirty years has people voting against their own best interest. Our corporate owned media along with Fox News shares much of the blame.
