Department of Justice won’t oppose detaining two Thai workers as material witnesses in Aloun Farms human trafficking case

In papers filed in Federal Court on April 29, 2011, the Department of Justice indicated that it does not oppose the Aloun Farms defense motion to detain two Thai workers as material witnesses. Comes now the United States of America, through undersigned counsel, and does not oppose Defendants Mike and Alec Sou’s Joint Motion to Detain Material Witnesses (Dkt. No. 168, dated April 25, 2011) Thanakorn Mukdamuang and Kuson Thasak in order to secure and preserve their testimony by deposition for trial in this case set for July 27, 2011.
