Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC)
A utility grid must be supplied mostly with continuous power sources. For Hawai`i these consist of fossil fuel (oil, coal) and renewable fuel (geothermal, ocean thermal, biofuels) options.
Life of the Land has proposed an Ocean Thermal solution, starting with a 125MW facility off Kahe, O`ahu.
