Human trafficking defendant released from house arrest but likely faces new grand jury charges

At a hearing today in federal court, Judge Leslie E. Kobayashi agreed to allow accused human trafficking defendant Mordechai Orian, still in the custody of the Chabad rabbi, Rabbi Itchel Krasnjansky, to be released from house arrest. He will have greater freedom to move around and instead, he will have to obey a curfew.
