Did the rain dump a huge puddle in front of your house? Read this.

That huge puddle on the front page of this morning’s Star-Advertiser would be just another dry parking lot (or whatever it is) had Honolulu followed the example of many other states in mandating the use of porous pavements.
Compare the newspaper picture to any of the videos in yesterday’s article, Flooding should push Honolulu to use modern porous paving technologies (12/20/2010).
Is there a puddle in front of your house that threatens to flood your property? Get hold of the mayor or your city council person and tell them to get with the technology.
