Al Jazeera English news available for your iPod or MP3 player

Load up your MP3 player with an hour of Al Jazeera English news from Pacifica station KPFA each morning. The podcast is available at about 05:02 a.m. Hawaii time (actually 7:02 a.m. California time). It’s live there from 6-7 a.m. and their computers package the program automatically for podcasting.

I listen to Democracy Now on my MP3 player while preparing breakfast, and now Al Jazeera while cleaning up. If your car has an input jack for the player, or if you have a little FM transmitter, you don’t have to suffer through any more HPR fund drives. Just play what you like and spare yourself the psychological damage.
