French dictate women’s fashion--Senate overwhelmingly votes to ban the Islamic veil

The French Senate has voted overwhelmingly for a bill banning the burka-style Islamic veil everywhere from post offices to streets, in a final step toward a making it law.

Although the uproar against the Islamic center in Manhattan leads me to believe the French may be merely a few steps ahead of us. Do they have Fox News there also??

Women have been easy targets of discrimination in the past and it looks like that discrimination is still with us. It's disturbing that here in the United States right wing extremist in their twisted minds peddle intolerance as a way to defend the US Constitution.
