Ethics Commission appoints Suzan Yoza as interim Executive Director
by Larry Geller
The Hawaii State Ethics Commission appointed Associate Director Susan Yoza to be interim Executive Director at its meeting today. Yoza said she was not interested in a permanent appointment to the position and would continue at her current salary level.
The Commission will be putting together a job description and then begin its search for a new ED.
Today’s meeting follows the Commission’s June 16 meeting at which it fired executive director, Dan Mollway, who had served in that position for the past 24 years.
The commission also expressed its appreciation to Vice Chair Jerrold Fuller and Commissioner Mark Brasher upon completion of their terms in office.
