Change in date for Furlough Friday hearing on preliminary injunction
by Larry Geller
Update: the date has changed again, this time to Monday, Nov. 9 (as of 10/30/2009). I don’t know the time yet.
The date has been changed for the two motions for preliminary injunctions against the DOE’s Furlough Fridays.
The new date is Tuesday 11/3/2009 08:30 a.m. in Judge Ezra’s courtroom on the fourth floor of the federal courthouse. Should the judge grant a preliminary injunction, the advanced date will give the DOE time to arrange for the schools to remain open.
There is plenty of space in the huge courtroom for observers, if you’d like to join the scene in support of the attorneys fighting for our kids.
