Meanwhile, back at the Senate, civil unions bill recalled but there’s an attempt to assassinate it

I hate politics.
HB128 passed. So contractors bidding with the state will be able to pay off their favorite legislator.
At the same time, over at the senate side, the civil unions bill was successfully recalled to the floor on a motion by Sen. Ihara. It had ten votes (I don’t have the list yet, I think it was ten).
But now an amendment is being introduced by Sen. Tsutsui, and the senate is in recess to caucus. Any amendment, even if it proposes to drain the Capitol pool or something like that, will kill the bill.
