Very clever but, sadly, so true.
Some years ago (pre-Lingle), a political commentator noted that "The thing that killed the Republican Party in Hawaii was that big business found out how cheaply they could buy Democrats." Some things never change.
How clever. I hadn't heard that.
It's interesting to see how little money some of the legislators received in exchange for their vote.

That picture is just too good!! We're seeing up close what goes on in DC. Government for and by corporations. I hope Kauai will continue to be a beacon of hope to encourage people to finally stand up.
